Favourite Weapon

It's probably rather predictable, but what is everyone's favourite weapon? I like the AR in Halo CE, Energy Sword in Halo 2, but in Halo 3 I prefer the Gravity Hammer.

i like Sniper Rifles, and Beam Rifles from all the games (where usable)

But if you had to choose between the two in Halo 2 or 3, what would it be?

Halo CE Sniper Rifle, either beam Rifle cause i think they are the same.

The Spartan laser bugs the crap out of me! I mean, it's powerful as all hell, but I can never seem to kill anything with it!

it is a really difficult weapon to use. i've only ever killed Brutes and tanks with it other than the occasional lucky shot in split screen (and I'm talking the "HOLY SHIT" type of lucky shot).

its that hard for you guys? i use it all the time online to shoot down banshees, ghosts, tanks, hogs, and people. the only thing thats really difficult to shoot down is the banshees and sometimes people that are really far away like sniper range or more.

I would probably go with AR and Shotgun in CE, in Halo 2 it would be the Needler and in Halo 3 I like the Spartan Laser, Mauler, Spiker, Gravity Hammer and the good old AR.

Well, I have never played any Halo online...coz ORD doesn't have the ability to. But I can't seem to kill anything with it. I can damage stuff like there's no tomorrow, but I cant kill stuff.

The reason why it is hard to kill people with it is cause we have a maximum of 4 players (cause there isn't many xbox 360's available to us, or TV's) and when your all on the one TV watching what the others are doing, you know when your about to get shot by it and take cover.

And i can't get Xbox live cause it would cost more money (which i don't really want to spend) and we have a very delicate computer network set up in the house which takes up the spare phone lines to connect to the internet. I ain't messing with the network what so ever, one wrong move and the network goes POP!

internet provider here... we need to get ord high speed internet so he can get on live.

no we need to get me a lot of money to get an even more complex network set up so i can play it.

anyway back onto favorite weapons. i think i might add the Energy sword to my favorites cause i just love the sword/sniper combo. gravity hammer i don't so much like some times its really effective but yeah i like the sword more.

Well...the sword is one of the most basic weapons to use, I will admit that...but it can still be really useful, I use it to kill the Flood.

It still ain't easy to use swords though, you have to be very sneaky when using it on big maps, or use it defensively. other than that i use sniper. actually i use whatever random gun i start with but anyway, some times its just fun trying to kill people with a Plasma Pistol cause you know it ain't gonna work lol.

If you're on a big map in multiplayer then yeah, screw the sword...well, that's me, in any case. But small maps in multiplayer, I love using the sword...and any time when we're trying to kill Flood.
