I have a job that I really enjoy, but that I pretty much only got coz the boss is a mate of my Dad. I don't think he likes me very much. He just doesn't seem as...friendly towards me as he does with the other staff. What should I do?

umm well if hes treating you well then i would just go with it. if he starts treating you bad then just say F*** you, you prick... and quit.

the quiting part wouldn't help if she was trying to keep the job lol.

No, I'm sure my boss would be fine if I said "I want to quit but keep the job!" Same as he would be fine if I turned up to work soaking wet...

And I realised it today, he wasn't there when i was working, and I feel a lot less tense when I am working and he is not around. Maybe that's just my paranoia that he's gonna come out and fire me.

i like my work. sure i probably don't exploit all the benefits i might have but its nice repetitive work that i know i can do and get paid for.

It's not like he does anything OVERLY bad...mainly just huggles and kisses.

I may be getting a pay increase, for no apparent reason YAY. and cause of a union that i don't belong to. that bit was unexpected but I'm not arguing with getting more money.
